Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. That’s right….it’s our website. An effective and proven leader will involve many people. It is my hope that we can count on you to be on our leadership team as we begin to work on the many challenges that face Franklin County’s educational system.

I have been astounded over the past few months to hear of the many plans, solutions and in some cases even excuses why our system is in the state it is in. What is more bothersome is that these excuses are coming from those who have been directly involved in the system as we know it today. Ask yourself…do you think it is time for a proven leader?

I believe that plans demand actions and as your School Superintendent, I will work diligently for the positive results that Franklin County deserves.

A fresh new leadership will bring about the positive change that our children, teachers and staff deserve. The voters and taxpayers of Franklin County are ready for a real change. While many are putting hope for change into our beautiful new complex, the mere changing of bricks and mortar will not be enough to change our system. A fresh new leadership with a vision for change can insure that these positive results that so many are looking for are attained.

The leadership that I offer to you the voters of Franklin County is that of real experience which includes having completed a 25 year banking career here in Franklin County, served on the Franklin County School Board for 14 years (the last seven consecutive years as Chairman) and the opportunity of having represented you as your State Representative for the past 8 years. With my business experience which includes both budget and the supervision of people along with the experience of serving on the School Board and its function, with a clear and concise understanding of the state budget and policy process makes me uniquely qualified to be your next Superintendent of Schools.
